My appointment days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs and Fridays
My appointment times: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
Payment: I accept personal checks, money orders, cash, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash app and my gift certificates.
Please arrive early: 10 minutes early (first visit) and 5 minutes early for subsequent visits. This assures we have full time for the actual massage.
My consultation form: You fill in this confidental form on first visit only, beginning our discussion of your needs and expectations for the massage, and identifying your areas of bodily concern (if any).
Follow-up consultation/report: After the massage, I give you some aftercare advice for supporting the positive effects of your treatment, followed up shortly by a more detailed report by email, which includes specific suggestions for you to improve such issues a muscle tone, dryness of skin, and circulation issues. (Your email address will be held in strictest confidence, never shared.) With your permission, I'll also send you my monthly health letter, which clients say help them remain focused on their primary goals of health and happiness--which I find always go hand in hand!
The experience: Massages take place on a comfortable, amply padded, raised table, designed for your total relaxation in dim lighting. You choose your preferred relaxing music from my library of world spiritual and meditational albums as well as classical music collections. I apply the essential oil of your choice and begin with your extremeties while you become used to the touch and guide me as to the level of pressure you prefer. Soon you may drift into the alpha level of sleep--which is really half-awake, so you won't miss a thing. Don't fight drifting off, canceling all thought processes, and fully enjoying the healing touch. Know that your massage therapist is one with you during the process and unaffected by your natural reactions--even snoring can be music to his/her ears, and we mean it! When your full body massage is complete, you will be given time alone to return to full awareness, and a soothing glass of ice water with lemon or lime to refresh you and begin to flush away toxins released from storage in your muscles.
Massage reactions: Most feel more relaxed than ever experienced and want to take it easy the rest of the day; this I encourage as deep emotions, as well as toxins, can be released by deep massage. Others bounce up feeling like they want to run a marathon, experiencing the dynamic effects of a sudden release of blocked energy. Energy release feels, and is, powerful--but please rest today and enjoy the full effects tomorrow. And please call me if you feel at all overwhelmed or discombobulated. This is rare indeed, but I want you to know I will be happy to answer your concerns.
Check with your physician, or other health professional IF: If you have any serious conditions which you think could be affected by massage, do check it out first. And do reveal serious conditions, and old injuries, to your massage therapist so he/she can use appropriate techniques, or avoid, particularly troubled areas when necessary.
Referrals: To say thank you, I offer you half-price off the treatment of your choice for every five referrals who book a massage using your name, or a free treatment or gift certificate for every eight new clients. I keep very good track and will happily give you a print-out upon request. And thank you, in advance, for any good words you pass on to your friends.
Love & Light,
Tony
